Jewelers Brass Round Wire
Temper: 1/2 Hard
Jewelers Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, sometimes including small amounts of other metals, but usually 67 percent copper and 33 percent zinc. Jewelers Brass is a gold colored metal, it is not as yellow as yellow brass. Jeweler’s brass is about 8% stronger than yellow brass. Jewelers Brass is an excellent choice for trim and inlay work on chain maille jewelry. Brass can be cleaned with Brasso. Jewelers Brass wire for making chain maille is now available in 1/2 hard temper for strength and packaged in loose coils.
